From egg hunts to a egg dancing, take a look at some of our favourite Easter inspired days out across the UK.

Legoland Windsor

Easter Eggstravaganza at West Midland Safari Park, Worcestershire

National Trust

The National Trust has teamed up with Cadbury once more this year creating 250 trails happening throughout Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales this Easter.

Eden Project

This year the Eden Project features a three week programme of fun for the whole family at Eden this Easter. There’s dozens of activities for you and the kids to have a crack at – including a giant scramble course and special chocolate treats.

Easter holiday activities at Dalkeith Country Park, Edinburgh

Fort Douglas is a child’s dream day out especially this Easter.  As well as the amazing adventure park there are lots of Easter activities to try from balloon twisting, pebble painting to Easter forest faces.

Mini Madness this Easter at the British Motor Museum

(19th – 22nd April)

The Museum kick starts its Mini 60th celebrations with a host of themed family activities this Easter from 6 – 28 April. Visitors can enjoy family tours with a Mini mad mechanic character, follow a Mini Trail and make a Mini using air dry clay. Over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend from 19 – 22 April children can enjoy a traditional Easter Egg hunt with a Mini twist – collect eggs around the Museum to claim your Mini Egg reward.

Easter at Blenheim Palace

Across the Easter period, there are some fantastic activities available in the Family Pleasure Gardens as well as roaming entertainment from some colourful characters.

Easter Bunny has been hopping through the Family Pleasure Gardens and Formal Gardens and has left a trail of paw prints. Follow the trail through the Formal Gardens to discover the fun Easter facts. Look for the hidden Giant Flowers in the Pleasure Gardens

National Botanic Garden of Wales


It’s animal magic this Easter from Saturday 13th to Sunday 28th of April at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, where you can get up close and personal with Farmer Huw’s younger livestock – lambs and chicks. Selected Sealife Centres around the country are running  their exciting  Jawsome Sharks event this Easter. As well as looking for shark teeth in the tanks, keep your eyes peeled for letters hiding on giant Easter eggs.  When you collect all the letters to reveal the secret word you are rewarded with a tasty treat.

Bristol Zoo

Paultons Park, Hampshire

Mumbles Pier – Easter Egg Hunt on the beach

Fancy an Easter egg hunt on the beach?  then head down to Swansea with your spade as you search and dig for hidden eggs under the sand.

Each coloured egg found represents one chocolate Easter egg, so get , so get practising digging!  There will also be other Easter theme games and prizes in the Amusement Arcade and Cafe throughout the Easter week!

Easter Eggstravaganza Festival at The BIG Sheep, Devon

(6th – 22nd April 2019)

At the Big Sheep in Devon there are over 30,000 chocolate eggs to be found at their biggest ever Easter egg hunt spread across the 40-acre attraction.

As well as having over 30,000 chocolate eggs to find, there will be something for all the family to enjoy this Easter – a great selection of rides and attractions, great shows and the Easter bunny will be out and about at intervals throughout the day to meet and greet the children.
