If you are looking for one of the best character dining experiences at Walt Disney World, then there is a hidden gem that most visitors to Disney wouldn’t have heard of and its right in the middle of Walt Disney World property.
The Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and his pals, at the beautiful Four Seasons Orlando I would rate as one of the very best character dining experiences offered at Walt Disney World.
With one of the best breakfast buffets available anywhere in Orlando, great service mixed in with some Disney magic, this has been a go to place for us when we are in Disney.
Here are our 10 reasons why we think this is the best breakfast character dining experience at Walt Disney World
Luxurious surroundings
The Four Seasons Orlando is located within Walt Disney World approximately 3 miles from Magic Kingdom, tucked away in the most exclusive area of Disney called Golden Oak.
The drive from the gatehouse into the Four Seasons is beautiful and inspiring. The hotel is at the end of a private gated community of quaint streets lined with colonial-style multi-million dollar homes which have been designed by Walt Disney Imagineers so there are special Disney touches everywhere.
Gorgeous Décor
Forget about the deluxe Disney resorts, the Four Seasons is a totally different level of luxury. It’s lobby and public areas are truly spectacular with huge windows overlooking the lake and gardens.
There are also subtle Disney touches throughout including stunning chandeliers arranged to look like the Magic Kingdom fireworks, Mickey Mouse shaped seating areas and beautiful floral displays everywhere.
You get to meet Goofy and his pals
At the Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and his pals, you not only get to meet and interact with Goofy but also Mickey and Minnie.
You have multiple opportunities to meet with Goofy, Minnie and Mickey throughout breakfast and each character spends several minutes with you at your table for pictures and interactions, which was so much fun. Each table also receives a special souvenir card with the characters’ autographs already on it which gives you more time to spend having fun with them.
It’s calm and relaxed
The dining room at Ravello is beautiful. This is by far one of the most sophisticated Disney character breakfast of them all.
At some of the Disney hotels, character breakfasts can get quite hectic, but the Four Seasons Orlando gets this just right. With lots of open space it never felt overcrowded making this a luxurious and intimate environment to dine with these three main Disney characters.
Unique outfits
Unique outfitsThe outfits that Mickey, Minnie and Goofy are wearing are unique and can only be found at the Four Seasons. All are dressed in their adorable country club summer clothing very in keeping with the luxurious setting of the hotel – we especially liked Minnie’s outfit where she was sporting a stylish scarf and a special sunglass bow on the top of her head.
Delicious Food
As you would expect at the Four Seasons, the breakfast here is delicious and high quality. There is a huge range of options available on this all you can eat buffet from hot cooked items and an omelette station to freshly made pastries, fruit, yogurts and cereals. The quality and presentation of the breakfast options is superb and it’s a great way to start your day at Disney.

The hotel offers free valet parking
If you are driving to the Four Seasons Orlando then car parking is free if you are dining with Goofy & His Pals at Ravello. Being a 5 star property there is only valet parking available, so you just need to drop your car off at the entrance to the hotel and make the short walk into Ravello. Just make sure that you get your ticket stamped when you check into the restaurant.

The Goofy & Pals character breakfast is held at their Ravello restaurant on Thursday’s and Sundays from 7am until 11am and unlike dining at other Disney properties you don’t need to book 60 days in advance, although I do recommend making a reservation well in advance as dates sell out quickly.

If this is your first time at the Four Seasons Orlando, take time to explore this beautiful resort. The hotel and its landscaped grounds are stunning. In the lobby café, you’ll find Lickety Split, which specialises in scrumptious looking cakes and home-made gelato. There is also a boutique at the hotel with a fantastic range of Disney products many of which we did not find at the Disney parks.
So is the Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & Pals worth the price?
Overall, the breakfast is expensive at $52 per adult and $32 per child but you are paying for a unique character experience in luxurious surroundings. The ambience and luxury of the beautiful Four Seasons Orlando is unmatched by any other Disney hotel. The food is also delicious, and the characters are adorable in their outfits.
