Best places in the UK to pick your own pumpkin this Halloween

With Halloween soon upon us, a popular October tradition in the United States and Canada is picking your own pumpkin and its getting more and more popular in the UK each year.

Here’s some of the best pumpkin patches in the UK for 2019.


West Glamorgan

Penyfodau Fawr Farm Shop

At family run Hendrewennol which is located in Swansea is one of the biggest and most visited pick your own farms in South Wales. From orange to green and even white pumpkins, Penyfoday Fawr Farm Shop has more than 18 acres of land which is absolutely full of them.

Brooksgrove Farm

Brookgrove is a family run farm just outside Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, West Wales and their popular Pumpkin Patch opens in October each year and is great fun for all ages. They have a huge range of pumpkins to pick all grow at the farm from big ones, little ones, orange ones and white ones – it’s quite a spectacle

Avon Valley Adventure Park

This October you can pick your own pumpkin to take home and carve ready for Halloween!  They will have a massive patch with over 15,000 pumpkins so you will not be short of one to choose from!

The fun doesn’t end with picking your own pumpkin, their themed pumpkin area will have retro fete games, music, entertainment, food and drink on hand to make it a real experience.

Secretts Farm in Surrey is a sprawling farm growing an estimated 30,000 pumpkins in their fields. There are tractor and trailor rides to take you into the pumpkin fields ready for children to pick for Halloween.

National Forest Adventure Farm

The National Forest Adventure Farm is one of the most popular attractions in the local area for good reason offering exciting indoor fun, outdoor adventure and farm animals

At Barleylands Farm Park expect lots of fiendish fun this Halloween.

At Tulleys their daytime Halloween festival will be the biggest and best to date. Their Pumpkin Patch isn’t a Pumpkin, he’s just a very enthusiastic pumpkin grower! He has his own patch and will tell you all about how to grow pumpkins. He’s even got a song about it!

Set in the beautiful Fife countryside Cairnie Fruit Farm & Mega Maze offers a brilliant fun filled day out for the whole family especially in October for Halloween which opens 6th October 2018.
