There are so many places in the world I would love to visit as a family. Sometimes I imagine where I would travel if I was lucky enough to win the lottery.
These are my favourite sort of articles, where you just sit back, take a moment and really stop and think where in the world it would be great to visit with the children.
Although we sometimes play the Lottery here in the UK I didn’t realise that you could play other lotto’s around the world with lotto betting. Here are my 5 bucket list destinations for next year, hopefully it might inspire you to book a trip.
Singapore
Singapore has always fascinated me as a destination, for a small country it is jam packed full of amazing experiences for the family from KidZania, Universal Studios and the Aquarium at Sentosa Island to the Gardens of the Bay. This iconic Singapore landmark looks like something out of a sci-fi movie whilst the incredible cloud and flower forest looks mind blowing. Then there is swimming at the infinity pool at the Marina Sands Hotel and gazing down on the city from 57 stories high.
Australia and New Zealand
Australia and New Zealand would be a dream holiday, and you would need a lotto win to have enough money and time here to experience everything on offer. Both countries are beautiful and diverse and would offer every type of experience possible for a family from seeing iconic buildings such as the Sydney Opera House to spending time at some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
Hawaii
Visiting three of the Hawaiian Islands – Oahu, Maui and the Big Island has always been a dream destination for us. As a destination it offers a little bit of everything adventure, stunning scenery, relaxation, history and world class beaches. The kids would also want us to add in that Hawaii is also home to the Disney Aulani resort, if they had to choose on location for their bucket list this would be it.
Explore the rest of the USA and Canada
Back on the mainland we would love to spend a few months exploring America and Canada. Driving route 66 and stopping at the iconic destinations on the way. A road trip around Texas would be another highlight seeing everything from Houston to Dallas to El Paso.
This would just be the start the girls in particular would love to visit New Orleans and Nashville whilst the lure of another trip to Florida and its iconic theme parks would be hard to resist. Being able to spend time in Canada with its jaw dropping beauty it would also be an opportunity not to miss. I have seen so many beautiful pictures on Instagram of Lake Louise in Alberta which are so gorgeous they just want to make you travel.
Iceland
The land of fire and ice. We would love to explore the amazing unique landscapes on Iceland of erupting volcanoes, waterfalls, glaciers and geysers. There are so many activities to keep a family entertained here from 4×4 rides across lava fields, glacier walks to soaking at the natural hot springs of the Blue Lagoon.
