Keeping Warm and Stylish in Scotland with Reima

Reima, a Finnish company who specialise in children’s clothing have been one of our favourite brands ever since we took their innovative sunproof clothing range on our holiday to Texas.

The main reason why we like their products so much is because of the quality and durability of their clothing.  If you have never heard of Reima (one of the most popular kids clothing brands in Scandinavia) – let me tell you why both you as parents and more importantly your kids will love their clothes.

We tested out the new winter clothing range offered by Reima during our recent trip to Edinburgh and much like in Finland, endured all four seasons but the Reima clothing kept the girls warm, dry and comfortable.

The girls in particular love the styling and fit of the clothes and as they are getting older they are getting more fussy with what they wear but their new winter coats ensured they would be visiting Scotland in style.

The Reimatec down jacket was perfect for Chloe, who loved its bright white colour and fitted shape.

As you would expect from a Scandinavian brand, the coat was more than capable at blocking out the cold winds and also repelled water really well when we encountered a heavy downpour as we explored the beautiful city of Edinburgh – I can’t recommend the Reimatec down jacket enough.

If we go on a family ski trip this year then this is also the perfect ski jacket as it can withstand temperatures down to -20 with snowlocks at the waist and cuffs ward off wetness.

My personal favourite was Holly’s Muhvi winter jacket – not only was it so super stylish but I loved the pretty patterns and Raspberry pink colour, it was a real head turner as we had fun in Scotland.

As soon as the jacket arrived, Holly couldn’t wait to wear it.  The removable hood, finished with a detachable faux-fur trim was one of my favourite features but for Holly, the zip pockets were perfect for storing her most prized possessions, I love this attention to detail.

One of the best features of both Holly’s and Chloe’s coats is that they feature  are water and dirt-repellent which is a must if you have active kids all down to the innovative Reimatec® fabric.used on the coats.

As a parent I know that Reima clothes are built to last.  They have been wearing their Reima’s 2 in 1 Float down jackets for nearly a year now and they are still looking as good as the day they arrived and they have been tested to the max.

Like the rest of our Reima collection of clothing, both the girls winter coats are really well made durable, and stylish – we have had so many compliments on the kids jackets.

Although Reima clothing can be more expensive than other kids jackets, you can’t compare the quality and durability – the cheaper coasts probably won’t be waterproof, not very breathable and really unlikely to last as long as the Reimatec jackets.

If you shop around you should be able to pick up their winter range of products especially during a sale period with discounts of up to 60% off.

So if you want your kids to be stylish and stand out from the crowd then it’s well worth looking at the range of clothing available at Reima.
