We’ve visited Walt Disney World many times over the years, and most recently spent last summer soaking up everything the Disney parks in Orlando had to offer. Even as regular visitors, one thing never change, across the four theme parks, Disney Springs and the resort hotels, 2026 brings a mix of brand new experiences, long awaited ride upgrades and the return of some of Disney’s most popular seasonal events.
If you’re thinking about planning a trip, here’s what we’re most looking forward to seeing in 2026.
A Year-Long Perk for Families: Kids Eat Free (2026)
Throughout 2026, families staying at one of more than 25 Disney Resort hotels can take advantage of a valuable dining offer. When adults purchase a Disney Dining Plan as part of a package, children aged 3–9 receive their dining plan free.
For families, this adds real value, particularly for longer stays where meal planning can make up a significant portion of the budget, and dining out in the USA is not cheap. The offer can also be combined with selected future promotions, giving visitors flexibility when booking. Dining plans cover meals, snacks and many child friendly favourites across the resort, offering both convenience and peace of mind when it comes to budgeting a trip.
