easyJet Holidays Will Cover the Cost of Your Baby’s First Passport

Families planning their baby’s first trip abroad could save £66.50 thanks to a new promotion from easyJet holidays, which is offering to cover the cost of a child’s first UK passport through a discount on qualifying holiday bookings.

The offer comes as easyJet reports growing demand from families travelling with infants, with the airline seeing a 10% increase in infant travel during 2026 compared to the previous year.

How Does the Offer Work?

Parents booking an easyJet holidays package with an infant under the age of two can receive a £66.50 discount, matching the current online cost of applying for a British child’s passport.

To claim the discount, travellers need to use the promotional code FIRSTPASSPORT when booking before 26 November 2026. The saving applies to holidays completed by 31 October 2028.

easyJet has also confirmed there is no minimum spend requirement, making the offer accessible whether you’re booking a short city break or a longer family holiday.

The Important Small Print

Despite the headlines, easyJet isn’t actually paying HM Passport Office on your behalf.

Instead, the airline applies a £66.50 discount to your holiday booking, meaning you’ll still need to apply and pay for your child’s passport separately.

The promotion covers the equivalent of the current online passport application fee but does not include delivery costs. Only one promotional discount can be used per booking.

More Families Are Travelling with Babies

The promotion follows new research commissioned by easyJet which found that family travel with infants continues to grow. According to the airline, 75% of parents believe covering the cost of a baby’s passport would make taking a holiday feel more affordable.

Research also found that one in ten parents didn’t realise their baby would need their own passport until they started planning a trip, while almost a quarter said it took several attempts to get an acceptable passport photo approved.

Can You Combine It With Other Offers?

One particularly useful detail is that easyJet’s dedicated promotion page currently highlights a FIRSTPASSPORT code which can be combined with selected Black Friday savings, potentially increasing the overall discount available to families booking a holiday.

As always, it’s worth checking the latest terms and conditions before booking to ensure you’re using the promotion that provides the greatest saving.

As a parent, I know how quickly the costs can add up when planning a baby’s first holiday. Between passports, travel equipment, transfers and accommodation, there always seems to be another expense around the corner.

A £66.50 saving isn’t going to transform the cost of a family holiday, but it’s a genuinely useful offer and one that many new parents are likely to appreciate. If you’re already considering an easyJet holidays package, it’s essentially free money towards a cost you’d need to pay anyway.

With many families already thinking about their first trip abroad with a little one, this is one of the more practical travel promotions we’ve seen recently.
