Where could you stay in Hilton’s summer sale?

The Caledonian Edinburgh – is included in the sale and makes a superb choice for a weekend break. It’s one of our personal favourites in Scotland—an iconic landmark at the west end of Princes Street. Some rooms offer stunning views of Edinburgh Castle and are within walking distance of the city’s major attractions. Previously a Waldorf Astoria, it became a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel last year following refurbishment.

There aren’t many Hilton properties in Wales, but one standout option is the recently refurbished Hilton Cardiff. Located opposite Cardiff Castle, it’s perfectly situated for sporting events and concerts at the Principality Stadium.

If you’re heading to Windsor—or planning a family trip to LEGOLAND Windsor—consider the Hilton Reading, which we’ve reviewed here. It’s a convenient option, close to the M4 and just a 30-minute drive from the park.

For sports fans, the Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone offers rooms overlooking the finish line—a must for F1 enthusiasts.

For football fans, Hilton St. George’s Park review here is unbeatable. We’ve also used it as a base for visiting Alton Towers. Cricket fans should check out the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl review here—its balcony rooms overlook the cricket field. It’s also an excellent choice for visiting Southampton or Paultons Park, home to Peppa Pig World.

Flying from Birmingham Airport? The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is close by review here. It’s also ideal for Resorts World, exhibitions at the NEC, and concerts at the BP Pulse Arena. Birmingham city centre is easily accessible via a direct train just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

For a countryside break in Somerset, the DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House, just outside Bristol, is set in beautiful surroundings review here. If you’re flying from Bristol Airport, the only onsite hotel is a good choice for early morning departures.

Visiting Chessington or Thorpe Park? Consider the Hilton Cobham. We stayed here for a night and found it a peaceful retreat after the excitement of the parks. Review here

Planning a trip to Brighton? The 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole offers a modern and stylish stay with a great location right on the iconic seafront. Review here
